TEMPORALIDADES TÁTEIS
Este projeto explora o conceito da sucessão secular, cujo registro material se codifica em fósseis – seres que teriam habitado o planeta em épocas remotas. Como suporte para os fósseis resgata-se a argila/cerâmica petrificada pela ação do tempo e pelas adversidades do planeta. Na série Temporalidades Táteis, apresenta-se dezenas de placas em cerâmica riscadas e esculpidas, que evocam vestígios de espécies que teriam se perdido ao longo da evolução. Novamente aproximando arte e ciência, reinventa-se o ofício de um pesquisador paleontólogo, identificando e catalogando os seres entrevistos nestas placas. O nome da série evoca a materialidade do tempo, como se fosse possível perceber pelo tato a sucessão das espécies ao longo da evolução.
This project explores the concept of secular succession, whose material record is codified in fossils - beings that would have inhabited the planet in remote times. As a support for the fossils, clay/ceramic petrified by the action of time and by the adversities of the planet is released. In the series Tactile Temporalities, there are dozens of ceramic plaques , scratched and sculpted, which evoke vestiges of species that would have been lost through evolution. Approaching art and science once again, the work of a paleontologist is reinvented, identifying and cataloging the beings detected on these plates. The name of the series evokes the materiality of time, as if it were possible to perceive by touch the succession of species throughout evolution.
